Sweet Cupcake Stampin' Up! Style

Having something sweet is just what you need!  No time to bake?  In a pinch you can make a sweet card to send to someone!

Supply:
  • Stamp Sets: Sweet Cupcake #141498
  • Inks: Melon Mango #126948; Smoky Slate #131179; Basic Gray #121044
  • Paper: Whisper White #100730; Basic Gray 121094
  • Other: Cupcake Cutouts Framelits Dies #141474; Stampin’ Dimensionals #104430; Melon Mambo Thick Baker’s Twine #141689; Rhinestone Basic Jewels #119246;Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush #141897; Pop of Pink Designer Washi Tape #141649

Measurement:
Whisper White- 8 ½” x 4 ¼”, 4 7/8” x 3  5/8”, 3” x 3”
Basic Gray – 3 5/8” x 3/8” , 5” x 3 ¾”

Instructions:
  1. Fold 8 ½” x 4 ¼” Whisper White cardstock in half to form card base.
  2. Glue the Basic Gray strip of cardstock across front of 4 7/8” x 3 5/8” piece in the lower part of the card.  Add a strip of Washi Tape across the top and wrap to back of piece.
  3. Stamp the cupcake icing in the following order: on the 3” x 3” Whisper White:
#3 – Ink in Melon Mambo and stamp off twice on scrap paper and then on cardstock
#2 – Ink in Melon Mambo and stamp off once on scrap and then on top of first image
#1 – Ink in Melon Mambo and stamp full strength on top of the other two
  1. Stamp the cupcake liner as follows on the 3” x 3” piece:
    #3 – Ink in Smoky Slate, stamp off once and stamp on cardstock
#2 – Ink in Smoky Slate and stamp on top of first image.
#1 – Ink in Basic Gray and stamp on top of the other two images.
  1. Cut out the liner and icing with matching framelits from Cupcake Cutouts.
  2. Add one layer of dimensionals to the back of the liner and pop up in center top of card.
  3. Add two layers of dimensionals to the back of the icing and pop up on top of the liner – (add one dimensionals, peel off the backing and add a second dimensionals to make it higher)
  4. Stamp the sentiment in Melon Mambo below the cupcake.
  5. Wrap the Melon Mambo Thick Baker’s Twine around the card just above the Washi Tape and tie a bow towards the left side.
  6. Pop up stamped piece with dimensionals on top of the Basic Gray cardstock (5” x 3 ¾”).
  7. Glue both layers to the front of the card.
  8. Add three rhinestones on the seam of Washi Tape and cardstock towards the right side.
  9. Add rhinestones to the icing.
