Why Then, Why Now

Sometimes I think, everyone who knows me, knows my story.
Well, I was reminded recently that is not the case!

Why did I become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator 15 years ago?

As a mom of five kids, when I saw Stampin' UP! I thought, "this is a way to take my kids from the crayon stage to a craft level that mommy could enjoy!"

I signed up with the Starter Kit for $250 because I knew it was a great value for the money.

My thought was that I would learn how to use everything in the kit then quit.

After the first year of playing with my kids and friends with rubber stamps I attended my first convention.

Watching those who had earned cruises, cash and lots of recognition I wondered to myself how close was I to earning some of these things?  When I got home and checked I realized that I was very close to a cruise!

As a mom of five, my husband and I had never been on a cruise!  How could we ever afford that?  Well, if I earned it that would be WONDERFUL!!!!

So, with my sights set, I did it!  I earned a trip to the Eastern Carribean!  Oh My!  What a wonderful trip that was!  And it was FREE!

Since that trip I have earned 9 others!  Who would have thought?  Playing with rubber stamps, paper and ink would send me on an all expense paid trip with my husband?!!!
